Notary Public Group Threatens Chaos Over Election Results

The political action group Notary Publics for Freedom says it will cause massive disruption if it is not satisfied with the outcome of next Tuesday’s presidential election.

“Suffice it to say that the country will be plunged into a crisis like it has never known,” says group president Monica Pillington. “People will learn the power of the notary public.”

The disruption, she says, will involve the use of the official notary public embossment seal – which legally must measure two and 7/8ths inches in diameter.

“We have a manufacturer on standby prepared to produce a million stamps and overnight them to our members,” she says. The diameter of these stamps, however, will be only two and 6/8th inches, making them non-official, non-binding and non-compliant.

What will this mean?

“Anything signed, stamped and sealed starting November 4 will not be legally notarized,” Pillington says – including marriage licenses, loan applications, death certificates, mortgage papers and over 14,000 other documents where notarization is required.

“Thousands and thousands will be evicted from their homes, lose their jobs, and go to jail for bigamy and forgery,” she says. “And forget trying to order Netflix.” She says that once the chaos starts, it will be all but impossible to stop.

She is not disclosing how the group wants the election to turn out.

“That,” she says, “will be evident.”
